Osgood Schlatter's Disease -- Knee Pain

Have you ever experienced pain just below your knee? Are you a teenager or an athletic engaging in vigorous running or jumping? If so, there is a chance that you have been diagnosed with Osgood Schlatter's Disease (OSD). It happens when your quadriceps is weak and thus transmitting stress to your patella (kneecap) tendon. In the process, if your tibial tubercle (the region below your kneecap) becomes swollen or inflamed; then you have contracted Osgood Schlatter's Disease. To learn about my episode with OSD and how I spent an agonizing 4 to 5 months, please visit Osgood Schlatter's Disease.
